Behavioral Health
Our Behavioral Health specialists focus on disturbances in thought, mood, cognition and behavior that can affect a patient’s level of functioning. Patients are referred to us by general practitioners, as well as specialists who identify behavioral disturbances while treating other primary medical problems. Behavioral health services are provided for both acute and chronic disorders with persistent symtomatology.
Behavioral Health patients are cared for by a multidisciplinary team of professionals including behavioral health nurses, social workers and occupational, physical and speech therapists. Services include thorough assessments, medication monitoring, education related to disease, and strategies to improve daily functioning.

Our team of experts will isolate environment/family stressors that can impede functioning, as well as identify medical complications before deterioration results in a crisis.

Certified home health aides also provide valuable assistance with self-care. The ideal goal for all concerned is for the patient to achieve the highest possible level of functional independence in day-to-day life, while remaining in the home setting.
