What is Home Care?
When a person prefers to stay at home but needs ongoing care that cannot easily be provided by family and friends alone, home care may be the answer. Home care can be any combination of health care and support services provided in a person's place of residence, including the following:

Professional nursing including specialized training in disease processes
Rehabilitation therapies: physical, occupational & speech-language
Certified home health aide, homemaker, companion, live-in, and home       support services
  Medical social services and counseling
Behavioral and mental health counseling & support services
  Case management services
  Nutritional support therapies and counseling.
