Therapy
Patient Care offers a full range of rehabilitation services to assist
patients of all ages with a wide range of physical and emotional
needs. The program’s goal is to help patients adjust to challenges
presented by physical limitations and to assist them in becoming
as independent as possible in the home setting.
Our rehabilitation professionals create individualized treatment plans
comprised of physical, speech and occupational therapies. Physical therapists
provide instruction on mobility training, therapeutic exercises and functional
safety. Speech pathologists provide swallowing dysfunction and compensatory
strategies to meet the patient’s communications needs. Occupational
therapists teach awareness and adaptive skills for disabilities and provide
instruction in activities of daily living.
In addition, we closely monitor the mental status of each patient. Our therapists provide supportive instruction in home management, problem solving and compensatory skills for cognitive deficits. The goal is to ensure improved physical and mental health together with increased functional independence in day-to-day living. |
